Why you should Elope?

Alright, so let's talk about why eloping might be the perfect fit for you. If you are here it is probably because you are considering eloping. A lot of couples, myself included, opt for eloping because the whole big wedding thing just doesn't do it for them. I mean, when I got engaged, we started planning our wedding and there were many things about a traditional wedding that didn’t excite us.

For folks like us, the thought of being the center of attention or dealing with a massive guest list is a bit overwhelming. Planning a big wedding involves a ton of stuff – venues, catering, invitations, you name it – and it can be majorly stressful.

Elopements, on the other hand, are all about simplicity and meaning. Sure, there's still some planning involved, but it's focused on the things that really matter to you. Like picking the perfect spot for your ceremony – maybe it's a serene mountain vista or a secluded beach.

And let's not forget the intimacy factor. Elopements are all about you and your partner, sharing a special moment together without any distractions. Like saying your vows in private just you and him/her. You can also include things that make you really happy, if you have a love for the outdoors or you have a special activity that you like to do together, that can be part of your elopement day.

So, if you're vibing with this whole elopement thing, I've got ten solid reasons why you should consider eloping.

10 Reasons to Elope this 2024

1. Less Stress: Planning a big wedding can be seriously overwhelming. From choosing a venue to coordinating vendors, there's a lot to think about. Eloping takes away a ton of that stress and pressure, allowing you to focus on each other and the excitement of your special day.

2.It’s way cheaper: Weddings can cost a ton of money, but elopements are usually much more affordable. You can put that extra cash towards something else – like a killer honeymoon or spend on things that really matter to you.

3.You want to do something different: You are that kind of person who doesn't like to do what other people do. You like to do things on your way, well having an elopement you can design your day how you really want without following traditions or things that don't really fit with your personality.

4.Experiences over things: ELopements are for those couples that prefer to have a great experience over paying hundred dollars in decorations or things that are gonna be for just a couple hours.

5. You rather have something more intimate and meaningful: Maybe the idea of being the center of attention or saying your vows in front of many people doesn't make you feel comfortable. ELopements allow you to have that privacy with your partner and share that moment that is just for your two. Isn't getting married supposed to be for two? Elopements are all about you and your partner. You get to choose exactly how you want to tie the knot.

6. Drama-Free: Let's be real – weddings can sometimes get a lot of drama. Eloping lets you skip all that and focus on the positive vibes like getting a cozy cabin or planning cool activities to your elopement day.

7. You are an outdoor lover: Thinking about getting married in nature gives you all the excitement, well this is definitely for you! You can pick the coolest location to say your vows, can be next to a waterfall, mountain views, you can even get a little bit more crazy and go to camp for your elopement day. Are many dope ways to get married in nature!

8. Get to know a new location: Basically you can get married and have your honeymoon at once, you can pick a cool location where you have been before or maybe you already know a location that stole your heart and you really want to exchange your vows there. You can plan an entire week or a few days to get married and also explore around.

9. Post- elopement party!: Probably you still want to celebrate with your family and having an elopement also allows you to celebrate with your loved ones, this can be the same day or after, you can have your own moment with your partner and then have a little celebration with your close family .

10.Eco-friendly: Weddings can generate a lot of waste, from disposable decorations to excess food and paper products. Eloping is a more eco-friendly option, allowing you to minimize your environmental footprint and celebrate your love in a way that's kinder to the planet.
