Fall Mountain Elopement in Tennessee
Josh & Emilee
Why they decided to elope?
The route that makes the most sense for us would be a small, peaceful elopement, in our favorite state, with just our favorite people. Tennessee is a meaningful spot to us, and will make for a wonderfully meaningful Wedding.
They were dreaming of a mountain elopement—top of world feeling—and from our first call, we knew exactly which location would be perfect.
Their day started at their super cute cabin, just minutes from the main spot. We captured all the getting-ready photos and details before their first look at this cute covered birgde that was part of their cabin. It was such a sweet, private moment for them to enjoy together.
After that, we headed up for their ceremony location. The views were breathtaking, and it was such a magical spot for their vows. They exchange their vows and also do a hand fasting ceremony. We took photos with their friends, then their family went back to their cabin while we continued exploring and capturing more of the mountain adventure. I was. a really nice afternoon in early October, we got the a gorgeous sunset, typically October sky in th Tennessee Mountains.
Once the sun set, we returned to the cabin for cake cutting, a little toast, and some night photos—definitely one of our favorite parts of the day.
The day flew by so quickly—we were having so much fun that we didn’t even notice the time passing. Josh and Emille’s elopement was beautiful, intimate and zero stress. It was one of those days we’ll always remember, and we feel so lucky to have been part of it.
