Emilie and Casey wanted to celebrate their love in a fun and adventurous way — just the two of them. After being together for 10 years, they wanted their day to be all about their love.

When they first contacted us, they had a few different ideas about how their elopement would look. We talked through some location options, but the moment we showed them this bald, it was an immediate yes. We all agreed that an early morning would be perfect — and for a summer elopement, sunrise is a total dream!

The big day arrived, and we met at the parking lot at dawn. Hiking in the dark was so fun! We even brought our portable changer so they could get ready up there and have their first look — it was absolutely dreamy.

Their ceremony happened as the sun was rising — unreal! Once they said “I do,” they had their first dance and just soaked in the moment. It was truly just the two of them in their own little world — so magical.

Afterwards, we set up a little picnic with coffee and pastries and just hung out, enjoying a slow morning together. They even had a tiny cake that they cut in the most original way — so cute! Then we spent the rest of the morning exploring the bald, taking photos, and having fun. It honestly felt like hanging out with friends.

We got such a gorgeous morning — I’d wake up early over and over again for a sunrise elopement like this. Truly magical.
