Romantic Smoky Mountains Elopement at Foothills Parkway

Kayla & Tayler dreamed of getting married in the Smoky Mountains in a gorgeous spot but also wanted to bring some of their loved ones along. Right away, we knew the Smokies would be the perfect fit—it’s such a great place to have an accessible and stunning ceremony location all in one.

We started the day at their cabin with some sweet getting ready photos and the cutest first look. The plan was to head to Cades Cove for their ceremony, but just a few minutes before arriving we ran into a rockslide that shut the road down. Thankfully, we always keep a backup plan in our pocket, and Foothills Parkway was the perfect switch (and truly never disappoints!). That’s the beauty of having a local team with you—we know the spots and can pivot in a heartbeat when needed.

Their ceremony at Foothills was absolutely beautiful, and their family loved the views. Afterward, everyone headed back to the cabin while Kayla & Tayler shared a sweet private first dance with their little one. Then it was just the two of them (plus us!) exploring the Parkway for more photos. The Smokies showed off with one of the prettiest evenings, and the whole day turned out better than we could have planned.

• 5:00 PM – First look (10–15 min)

• 5:15 PM – Head to Foothills Parkway (about 48 min drive)

• 6:00 PM – Ceremony (15–20 min)

• 6:20 PM – Family photos + more photos as we drive around Foothills (1–3 stops)

• 8:00 PM – End of coverage
